EFEITO DE SACAROSE E GLICEROL COMO PLASTIFICANTES EM FILMES ORODISPERSÍVEIS DE AMIDO E GELATINA

Resumo

Filmes orodispersíveis (ODFs) são películas finas que podem ser empregadas como carreadoras de fármacos para absorção direta na cavidade oral, sendo uma nova forma farmacêutica que se apresenta como uma alternativa promissora aos sistemas convencionais de administração oral. O interesse dos pesquisadores e da indústria no desenvolvimento de ODFs é crescente, e além disso também vem aumentando a busca por materiais de fonte renovável e baixo custo para sua produção. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo o desenvolvimento de formulações de filmes biopoliméricos à base de amido de mandioca e gelatina, e a caracterização destes filmes quanto à permeabilidade ao vapor de água (PVA), grau de intumescimento e solubilidade em função do tempo e propriedades mecânicas. Os filmes produzidos com os maiores teores de plastificantes (glicerol e sacarose) foram os que apresentaram os maiores valores de grau de intumescimento e solubilidade, sendo considerados mais promissores na formulação de ODFs.
