Focus and Scope
The Knowledge Management Journal: People, Processes, and Technology, published by Universidade Cesumar – UniCesumar, aims to disseminate original scientific articles that involve research in the fields of Management and Education, with a particular emphasis on business and educational organizations. The journal prioritizes knowledge that can improve, qualify, or transform context-specific processes or problems to support decision-making or problem-solving.
Peer Review Process
Articles submitted to the Knowledge Management Journal: People, Processes, and Technology are initially assessed for alignment with the journal's focus, scope, and editorial criteria. Once deemed suitable, manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by external ad hoc reviewers. Reviewers may recommend acceptance, rejection, or request revisions for further evaluation. The outcome of the peer review process is communicated to the authors via email by the editorial team. Manuscripts are sent for review without identifying information about the authors.
Ethical Principles and Best Practices
The Knowledge Management Journal: People, Processes, and Technology is committed to upholding ethical standards and best practices in scientific publishing. Plagiarism, in all its forms, is considered unethical and unacceptable. By submitting a manuscript, authors affirm that the work is original and has not been published elsewhere, nor is it under consideration by another journal.

Instructions for Ad Hoc Reviewers
Upon receiving the Editor-in-Chief’s email requesting a review, log into the system using the credentials provided at registration. If you have forgotten your password, please email naep@unicesumar.edu.br to request a temporary one.

The first step is to inform the editor of your availability:
Response: Available for review or Unavailable for review (select at the bottom of the page in Step 1). -
Once availability is confirmed (Accepted), the submitted manuscript and any supplementary documents will be available for download in Step 3 (Download and Review). Click on the file name to download the document. You may insert comments directly into the document; however, if using Word to add comments, ensure that no identifying information is included in the file.
2.1. Upload the document with your comments under Upload Reviewer Files and fill out the Reviewer Form.
2.2. Choose the appropriate recommendation as specified in the Reviewer Form, then click on Submit Review. Proceed to Step 4 (Finalization) and the Thank You page, where a discussion field is available for follow-up communication with the editor.
