Argumentation and Journalism: Analysis of the Contributions By Journalist Reinaldo Azevedo in the Newspaper Folha de S. Paulo

Abstract
Current study analyzes arguments by Reinaldo Azevedo in his contributions to the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo. Methodology is based on the analysis of content adapted tor this end, or rather, the category of analysis consists of arguments defined by Chaïm Perelman in the New Rhetoric. The corpus of current essay is made up of five contributions published during May 2014. Theoretical bases on Rhetoric are essentially those by Chaïm Perelman, Aristotle and António Fidalgo. The main authors for studies on journalistic genres are José Marques de Melo, Ana Regina Rêgo and Maria Isabel Amphilo.
