Abstract

The aim of this work was to determine the weight gaining and economic viability in husbandry of Nelore beef cattle, in the northwest of Paraná State, in rotative or extensive grazing. After a month, it was verified gain of rotative over extensive grazing. This allowed intensive use of grazing, improving area yield, by increasing the animal number, and reduced pastures losses by extensive grazing, resulting in economic benefit to the farmer.
