Economical-financial viability of implantation of a grain storage system: a case study in a medium rural property in Campo Mourão – PR

Abstract

The article tries to approach, in a complete way, the benefits resulted from the implantation of a grain storage structure in a rural property. For this, initially a bibliographical search about the theme was carrying out, seeking a consensus among the principal writers ideas about the subject. Following, it tries to summarize these benefits in a practical study of silos implantation structure in a rural property located at the city of Campo Mourão, in the Paraná State. Thus, with the sophisticated techniques of investment evaluation, it was concluded that, for the property being studied, the investment would be lucrative. As a result, the storage of grains in rural property presents itself as an effective way that many producers can use to add value for their products and to obtain incremental yield with their activity.
