Implementation Benefits of the Environmental Management System in the Industry
Abstract
The concern for environmental preservation is relatively recent in the history of human societies, and born of the great development with parallel production of environmental impacts resulting from the acceleration of the industry process. This paper presents a case study of implementing an Environmental Management System in a company's automotive sector. It systematizes all questions concerning the methodology of implementation and the benefits produced in the production according to the SGA. It also discusses the life quality improvements obtained by employees and contributors. And the gains qualifying ends with the perception of community about the new social environment that the vision takes from the deployment of an Environmental Management System. The work aims to encourage discussion of other companies and organizations on the overall benefits of implementing environmental management systems.
