Abstract
Workers´ health and safety are so important that they should be taught to children and adolescents so that they could construct and assimilate the concepts. In fact, they may become more conscious adults with regard to health and life quality. Through Ergonomy, multimedia methods for the transmission of health and safety on work are an important perspective due to the high popularity that computer games have among young people. Games awaken an interest because of the themes and, consequently, provide a greater assimilation of contents. Current research, based on a bibliographic survey, discusses themes related to the use of multimedia technology for the teaching of children and adolescents. The software ERGOSHOW deals with health and labor safety concepts through games. It employs Academic Google to access papers, dissertations and theses. Books on the theme at the Central Library of the Universidade Federal de Viçosa, Brazil, may also be accessed and consulted. The study and knowledge on the contribution of electronic games within the teaching-learning process is a need not only because of their great popularity within the population focused but also due to their contribution in teaching dynamics and interaction.
