Abstract

The perception of organizational justice on working conditions in a dealers´ network in the northwestern region of the state of Ceará, Brazil, is analyzed. Curent descriptive research comprising a case study is approached quantitatively. Data were retrieved from a questionnaire made up of 20 questions based on a study by Andrade (2010) and which were answered by 76 professionals in the sale, administration, technical assistance and management sectors. Information entropy was employed for the analysis of data. Results showed that the employees of the firm under analysis felt that they were not being compensated in a just manner for the work done. Results revealed that the managers of the dealers´ network should give more attention to the way the employees perceive justice within the firm so that flaws would be eliminated prior to the lowering of the employees´ yield. In fact, the perception of justice should be considered as an antecedent to organizational commitment.
