Abstract

Current study focuses on the preservation of the environment with its high concern on the excessive degradation of Nature owing to human ambition for wealth accumulation which, in its turn, reflects a capitalist society. The consequences derived from man’s interference in the development of natural assets have caused several respiratory diseases and jeopardized decent life on Earth. The environmental awareness alert is justified by future existence and the quality of life for future generations. Such conscience-raising has been regulated by environmental laws and occupies the role of collective rights. It is in fact one of man’s basic rights that presupposes a healthy environment and, consequently, the urgent need for environmental preservation.
