Abstract

This paper aims to analyze some of the personal rights of the employee in the workplace. It discusses the concept, personality characteristics and makes a conceptual distinction between personal rights and liberties. Among the illustrative list of personal rights of workers stipulated in Article 21 of the Civil Code it will be analyzed the image, privacy, honor, privacy rights, protected, instead by the Federal Constitution, in Article 5, sections V and X. There were collated some examples and tried for violation of those rights, that may be applicable to punitive damages. In this context, refers to the sense and the need for limits on the steering power of the employer, with emphasis on the supremacy of human dignity.
