Abstract

The main aspects of the European Union’s normative instrument to discipline international competence among its countries in a general and uniform manner are analyzed. Brief considerations on international competence are forwarded. An analysis of Rule 44/2001 on judiciary competence, acknowledgement and execution of decisions in civil and commercial matters edited by the EU Council are discussed. Finally the function of the EU Justice Tribunal with regard to the maintenance of the effectiveness and uniformity of community right and specifically on the legal document are appreciated.
