Cesunar´students hiher education reading practice

Abstract

The aim of this works is to describe some of teh aspects concerning the readung of technical-scientific texts by Cesumar´s higher education students. Thus, a questionnaire was given to the students of a higher education course followed by an interview with the same students. The selection citerion of the questionnaires was based on the greatest number of questions answered. The results were based on the reading of technical and scientific texts because the students themselves expressed their concern in reading such texts due not only to the difficulty they preent but also to the obligation of doing it. With this work it is intended to provide another possibility of analysis on how the reading of higher education students has been taking place, and therefore, to understamd how and what these students read.
