Abstract

The use of aircraft in the agrochemicals application has been increasingly expanding with the agricultural sector growth, becoming a vital tool not only in the management of large areas. The addition of adjuvants in the spray solution can increase efficiency of delivering higher quality on the liquid applications deposition on the target with minimal waste, and avoiding possible environment contamination. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of adding an adjuvant to the spray solution and its influence on the distribution range of aircraft and the potential risk of drift. For each treatment for implementing were used two volumes 20 and 25 L ha-1. For this, we used a model aircraft Cessna Ag-Truck, equipped with 30 Stol nozzles. The evaluation consisted in verifying the implementation of technical parameters on deposition in the range of roles hydro sensitive to oil and water and were analyzed using the computer program of drops and sprinkler-Sadgna deposition. The addition of adjuvant (vegetable oil) to the syrup and spray volume application of 25 L ha-1 provided a better volume distribution, increasing the quality of implementation, levels of deposition on the targets, and reducing the potential risk of drift in air applications.
