Abstract

TV Pen-drive technology by Geography teachers in government schools of the state of Paraná, Brazil, is analyzed so that its importance as didactic material which actually broadened the range of pedagogical intentions may be understood. In fact, the latter verified the degree of teachers’ digital inclusion, identified access and technological support they have in their day-to-day work and the manner information and communication technology contributed for the development of pedagogical activities. Field work comprised interviews with 23 Geography teachers of four government schools in Maringá PR Brazil, and employed a questionnaire with open and closed questions for data collection. Results show that the number of teachers who use the resource under analysis in the class room is very small, even though its importance as a didactic resource has enormous advantages for the teaching-learning process.
