Abstract

Leisure is being questioned as an object and knowledge fild. To this intend, it has been redeemed its historic and estabilished the basic for the study in the area. Finally, it is concluded by the importance acquired by the theme in our urban-industrial society, and in the several areas of research, being fundamental the scientific look for the theoretical/practical development in the area.
