A qualitative assessment of dental treatment needs of patients at the Integrated Clinic for Adults at Cesumar´s course of Odontology
Abstract
The brazilian population oral health has frequenttly been studied in restricted age groups such as the children and, more recently, the elderly. Research with the adult population related to treatment needs has been deficient, usually fragmented into specialties, making it difficult for a general analysis of the oral health conditions of this population. The objective of this work has been to assess qualitatively the service provided at the Integrate Clinic for Adults at Cesumar, during its first period of operation between March and december 2002, seeking to identify the oral health necessities of the adults population.
