Abstract

There are, inside the media, a lot of information about the Brazilian performance in international tests of reading, which is lower than countries with its economy less advanced comparing to Brazil. Also comments about the Law schools proliferation with low quality exist. On the one hand, teachers of the elementary and high school works in poor conditions with remuneration at least embarrassing; on the other hand, college teachers astounded with the “quality” of the new college student. Among all of this, there are the learners: barely read and speak; barely hear and see. In this context, the issue of the reading highlights, once it has been concerning the educators and the society in general for a long time. It is a fact that the students do not read or do it very bad during the whole learning process, a deficiency that persists even standing the damage for its own professional formation. When read, restrict itself to a low level of comprehension of the information founded in simple texts. Thus, the problem around this research is the recover of the reading at the university field, starting from living as a group and from the artistic and interdisciplinary cosmovision, once reading allows to dialogue with many other areas of knowledge in its various interfaces. This project, put into practice at the Communication and Scientific Investigation subject, aims at exploring questions related to the reading, working together with the oral expression, aiming the expansion and improvement of the student knowledge. It intends to improve the reading process with the consequent transformation of the student into a citizen, a speaker and into a reader of its own language and of the juridical science.
