Abstract

Scholarly debates on the definition of Post-modernism are frequent even though we live in times of renovation and revision within the dominant paradigm of science. Many think that revision is something positive and necessary. Since the old scientific models were based on dualities and controlled by elite peoples, at least when we speak on the Medieval Period and on Modern Science, they would not represent the entire plurality and multiplicity of human beings. This is now included in the discussion for the adaptation or the introduction of a future model. Current research is a theoretical essay and presents dominant epistemological perspectives on what was called scientific practice during the Middle Ages and in Modern Science to give a better comprehension with regard to the scientific construction tagged as Postmodern. In the opinion of some authors, modern science is made up of a more pluralistic and diverse scientific practice and intensifies the human aspect of ‘doing science’.
