SHORT NOTES ON THE ADMINISTRATION OF DIVERSITY: DILEMMAS AND MEANINGS.

Abstract

As may be surmised from the number of diversity administration in contemporary organizations, the theme of diversity has acquired relevance in administration sciences. Diversity administration does not merely occur for formality’s sake, due to legal requirements, but especially for the acknowledgement of the importance of interactivities among people of different identities. The latter is undertaken for the development of creativity and for facilitating the solution of issues from different perspectives by organizational members. Current essay consists of a bibliographical survey on the origin of diversity administration, its dilemmas and meanings. Results of the research are given, together with the most important of all, or rather, true diversity administration contributes towards an innovatory environment with the provision of subsidies for the organizational strategy with competitive advantages.
