INTERDISCIPLINARITY WITHIN THE INCLUSION PROCESS: THE FORMATION OF THE SPECIAL EDUCATOR FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
Abstract
The relationship between the formation of Special Education personnel and interdisciplinarity with regard to inclusion is provided. Interdisciplinarity may be defined as a variable which is relevant in specialized educational attendance and which belongs to the development of knowledge management within the school context. Five discipline summaries in a Special Education course, descriptions of public policies on the role and activities of the educator in Special Education, descriptions of three educators about their perception of interdisciplinarity in their formation were analyzed by quality approach and by content analysis. Results show that interdisciplinarity occurs in the relationships of educational practice of the educator of Special Education: with regard to the perception of pedagogical intervention, to the organization and development of attendance planning, and to assessment by students with special educational needs.References
