Analysis demonstrates the possibility of coexistence between economic development and environmental protection for the construction of a sustainable society with regard to natural resources and the preservation of life quality. Current investigation deals with the constitutionality of environment protection and demonstrates several types of protection and environmental protection in the Brazilian legal system.
