Abstract

From the relationship between history and psychology, synthesized by studies on myth and religion, we aimed to examine the symbolic and archetypal Hero. To complete this study, we chose to search from the readings of authors such as Carl Gustav Jung, Mircea Eliade and Joseph Campbell. In such authors’ works it was found a common theme: the myths and symbols. Gradually, these themes have centered our attention and became the focus of our readings and therefore of our research.
