Abstract

Current research establishes a cognitive map to explain the quality management difficulties of a dairy in an Agrarian Reform Settlement in Piratini RS Brazil. Brainstorming and Decision Explorer comprised the methodology used. Based on the Evaluation Primary Elements, it was verified that key points were prime matter, work and dairy. The Cooperative took tests only once a month, with a rate below the neutral scale. Results show that improvement in milk quality should take into consideration the following: periodical tests, the building of a laboratory, prevention through orientation to producers and others.
