Abstract

The objective was to evaluate the level of user satisfaction with electronic prescribing in a university hospital. This was a descriptive-analytical study whose target population consisted of users of the electronic prescribing system. A standardized questionnaire with closed-ended questions was used for data collection, and the Likert scale was employed as the assessment instrument. In total, 104 participants were included. Overall satisfaction with computerization was considered good. The lowest score was attributed to the training provided, while the highest score was assigned to the perceived quality of the system. There was no statistically significant difference in overall satisfaction among professional categories. It is recommended that the training program be reviewed to identify aspects that need improvement, thereby enhancing user adherence to the platform.
