Abstract

When applied in educational actions, Educational Technologies can potentiate transformations in Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the impact of the application of Educational Technologies used in health interventions for the prevention of Cervical Cancer on Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices related to the Papanicolaou test. This is an integrative literature review. The search was conducted in February 2025 in the following databases: Medline via PubMed, LILACS, BDENF, IBECS, BIREME via VHL, Scielo, Scopus, Web of Science, and Science Direct. A total of 74 articles were identified, from which 9 composed the final sample. The Educational Technologies found were: videos, oral educational sessions, monitoring via WhatsApp, a multimedia kiosk, leaflets, a mobile application, and television advertising. Oral educational sessions with follow-up via WhatsApp and informational videos were the only technologies that positively impacted all dimensions of the KAP triad, owing to their suitability to the sociocultural, economic, and linguistic context of the target population.
