Debates on the rights of the person are rampant within the Brazilian juridical construction. However, the right to life is certainly an inalienable right of the person since its object has the highest value, over any other, and from which other rights emanate. Current discussion deals specifically with the rights of the still-to-be-born person and the controversy on the start of the personality. The right to life, the procedural representation of the future human being, the concept of life, the theories on the start of life, the principle of inviolability of the right to life, the controversy on the start of life and of the personality, constitutional, infra-constitutional and international juridical tutelage and other doctrinarian situations are debated.Downloads
