The right of ecological mediation of the states

Abstract

Here it is the ecological crisis: risks of ozone layer reduction, chemical and radioactive pollution, deforestation – they are just a few examples of the ecological threats that hang on the planet. In this way, something emerges on the international arena; it is the necessity to recognize a mediation right to the domain of the environment, in cases of great ecological risks. Such right imposes itself in face of the inefficacy of the States to protect the environment or when it is not available for the citizens to do it. A State mediation in another territory, in an ecological matter, has the function to prevent the occurrence of damage to the environment or, at least, minimize its effects.
