Population deprived of liberty and homeless population: analysis of the contexts in the illness due to tuberculosis

População privada de liberdade e população em situação de rua: análise dos contextos no adoecimento por tuberculose

Abstract

 

Objetivo: identificar aspectos que potencializam ou fragilizam o desfecho do tratamento da TB entre a PPL e PSR. Métodos: Revisão integrativa realizada, em abril de 2024, nas bases LILACS, Web of Science, MEDLINE, Scopus e Embase, incluiu estudos primários disponibilizados na íntegra, publicados entre 2019 e 2024, em inglês, português ou espanhol; foi excluído a literatura cinzenta. Resultados: 15 artigos compuseram este estudo os quais abordaram como fragilidade, em ambas as populações, aspectos sociodemográficos (idade avançada, baixa escolaridade e sexo masculino), clínicos (coinfecção TB/HIV, alcoolismo e outras doenças crônicas) e relacionados aos serviços de saúde e/ou unidade prisional (barreiras no acesso e superlotação). Para PPL, destacam-se histórico de perda de seguimento e estigma. Os aspectos que potencializam, foram a busca ativa, oferta do tratamento diretamente observado, e de auxílio moradia e alimentação para a PSR. Conclusão: É necessário reduzir desigualdades em saúde com estratégias de enfrentamento que superem os desafios existentes.

Nursing student, member of the Tuberculosis Study Group (GET) and Epidemiological-Operational Tuberculosis Study Group (GEOTB) certified by CNPq. CNPq scholarship holder with the work entitled "Tuberculosis and vulnerable populations: comparative actions in care management". Currently, she works as secretary at the Academic Nursing Center at the Federal University of Rondônia.

Melisane Regina Lima Ferreira, University of São Paulo

Bachelor of Nursing from the Federal University of Rondônia - UNIR (2019). Specialist in Public Health from UNIR and the Brazilian Network of Public Health Schools (RedEscola) of the Sérgio Arouca National School of Public Health (ENSP) and Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) (2020). PhD student in Public Health Nursing at the Ribeirão Preto School of Nursing at the University of São Paulo - EERP/USP (2020-current). Member of the Tuberculosis Study Group (GET) linked to UNIR certified by the CNPq directory (2018-current). Member of the Operational Studies Group on HIV/AIDS (GEOHaids), linked to the Epidemiological-Operational Studies Group on Tuberculosis (GEOTB) at EERP/USP (2020-current). He was a CNPq Fellow through the Institutional Scientific Initiation Scholarship Program - PIBIC/UNIR (2016-2019). He is currently a CAPES scholarship holder for the Postgraduate Program in Public Health Nursing at EERP/USP (2020-current), with a sandwich period at the National School of Public Health at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa through the CAPES Print Program and student representative of the Postgraduate Program with the Postgraduate Commission (CPG) and with the Research and Innovation Commission (CPqI) (2024-current).

Bachelor's degree in nursing from the Ribeirão Preto School of Nursing at the University of São Paulo (2011), Specialization in Evidence-Informed Health Policy Management from Hospital Sírio-Libanês (2020), Specialization in Health Informatics from the Federal University of São Paulo ( 2017), Master's (2013) and Doctorate (2016) from the Postgraduate Program in Public Health Nursing at the Ribeirão Preto School of Nursing at the University of São Paulo. Post-doctorate from the Postgraduate Program in Public Health in the Border Region of the State University of Western Paraná (Unioeste) (2021). Currently, she is a Professor in the Department of Public Health at the Escola Paulista de Enfermagem at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). Member of the Tuberculosis Study Group (GET) certified by the CNPq directory, the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the Epidemiological-Operational Tuberculosis Study Group (GEOTB). She has experience in the area of ​​Nursing, with an emphasis on Infectious Diseases, Primary Care, Health Surveillance, Access to Health Services, Evaluation of Health Services and Health Information System.
