As part of its Archiving Policy, this journal uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, developed by Stanford University, to create a distributed archive among participating libraries. The system allows these libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More information is available at http://lockss.org.

The journal is also part of the Cariniana Network of Digital Preservation Services, provided by IBICT, which offers preservation for any journal using the Open Journal System (OJS) in Brazil.
