Abstract

This article has the object of analysis the children and adolescents’ right in the United Nations and into the Brazilian norms. This study seeks to identify the legal concept of children as well as establish the relationship of these international instruments with the Children and Adolescents Statute, and the advances arising from the new paradigms identified in the Doctrine of Integral Protection. It places the situation and context of the childhood and adolescence in Brazil and the difficulties in consolidating the child rights in the current context.
