Abstract

Current analysis discusses homo-affective relationships which have produced several different opinions throughout the years. Bias, discrimination, violence and homophobia are enrooted in many societies. Although without any judicial bases, they are rife. The importance of conscience-raising, awareness and mobilization is enhanced with regard to the rights and guarantees that tutelage equality among all types of people underscore, without any reason whatsoever to maintain or foment the violation of homosexual dignity. The 1988 Brazilian Constitution and several international treaties on human rights are investigated.
